Before a certificate of occupancy the inspector checks the fire door assemblies. CoA builds the application package from the job SubX read: the request letter and supporting-document list, and an acceptance inspection record for every fire-rated opening in the schedule. Each record has the opening's rating and hardware, a flag when its set lists no closer or no latch, and the checks NFPA 80 calls for on swinging fire doors, with a pass/fail column and a sign-off line.
